THE ROLE

The Y is seeking OSHC Educators (with or without qualifications) at our OSHC sites at Investigator College, Encounter Lutheran College and Victor Harbor School.

We have multiple opportunities available for those who are passionate about providing quality care and education to children.


As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for delivering challenging and stimulating programs and activities, fostering a supportive and fun environment, and helping children to develop their social, emotional, and interpersonal skills.

You will work closely with the OSHC Service Director, and work with a passionate team.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • ACECQA approved qualification (for Qualified Educator roles)
  • Certificate of completion for "Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect
  • Education and Care" Training
  • HLTAID009 CPR
  • HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in Education and Care
  • Knowledge of responsibilities under Child Safe Environments compliance
  • Sounds knowledge of OSHC Quality Assurance and recognised School Age Care Framework
