We have an exciting opportunity for a Continence Nurse Consultant to join our team located in Gisborne at 3 days per week (Wednesday - Friday), 30 minutes from the CBD with free parking on site.

A typical day will have you:

Provide a specialist nursing service for clients with urinary or bowel incontinence who require support and treatment through the continuum of care.Maintain documentation; complete client assessments in accordance with policies, procedures and to meet accreditation standardsProvide the client, family and/or carer with appropriate information and other supportive interventions to increase their knowledge, skill and confidence in managing their continence conditionProvide colleagues with clear direction and guidance and actively promote positive working relationships

We're looking for someone with:

Minimum Qualification requirement Registered Nurse (Division 1), with current AHPRA registrationPost Graduate qualification in Continence essentialA collaborative approach to working with clients, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholdersKnowledge of legislation relevant to the role, including Accreditation Experience in managing complex client scenariosExtensive experience in specialised continence advisory services
