Learning & Development Coordinator - Gaming Machines on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Compliance and Performance Manager - Gaming Machines, this role's primary responsibilities include developing, delivering, and assessing compliance, technical and developmental training programs across the Gaming Machine department.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop, deliver, and assess compliance, technical and developmental training programs across the Gaming Machine department, including onboarding new team members, refresher & remedial training, skills development, risk assessments and customer service training.
  • Conduct training summary reports, coordinate and manage learning & development schedules, implement the development, and evaluation of new team member probationary reviews.
  • Coordinate and report on the delivery of all legislative/compliance/online training for Gaming Machines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Maintain close communication with Gaming Machine Operational Management, Workforce Planning, and other key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple departments, bringing together our teams to contribute to our regulatory, compliance and culture transformation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures regarding Casino Operations, Responsible Gaming, Responsible Service of Alcohol, AML/CTF, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and Registered Training Organisations (RTO) standards.
  • Role model Crown's purpose and values, accountable for setting the standards and expectations and positively leading the introduction and adoption of business initiatives and industry standards.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong organisational skills with a genuine passion for the learning and development of new and existing team members.
  • A proven history of reliability and a strong performance record.
  • Flexibility to work fulltime, with the ability to obtain a casino license.
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE Highly desirable.
  • Minimum three years of demonstrated experience in the service or hospitality industry preferably within a training environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in learning program development, instructional design, and delivery & assessment methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and management skills.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships within a largescale, multifaceted organisation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
