The Opportunity


Join our team and play an important role of our on-site hospital dispensary in our brand new Northern Private Hospital As the Dispensary Technician, you will support our experienced team to prepare, dispense and process prescriptions for the day patients and outpatients of the hospital.

Our brand-new hospital is 18km from Melbourne's CBD and will be opening in early 2024.

This opportunity is perfect for someone from a Retail or Hospital Pharmacy background that is looking for growth in a collaborative team environment.


What you'll do (but not limited to)

  • Drive the medication dispensing, dispensary inventory control and organisation of claim management.
  • Support the dispensary operations catering to the needs of patients, nursing staff, and doctors at the hospital.
  • Reviewing and processing patient medication charts under pharmacist supervision
  • Generating any required reports for the hospital facilities to support seamless patient care

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience working in a
    Community or
    Hospital Pharmacy
  • Certificate III
    qualification is considered an asset
  • You love working in a team, and
    collaborating with others to deliver excellent care
  • You are
    engaged, flexible, responsive and you like working with others just like you

It is a mandatory requirement that you have:

  • Up to date COVID-19 vaccinations using vaccines approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
  • Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
