Your responsibilities will include:

  • Domestic Assistance: Ensuring the homes of older individuals are clean and safe
  • Aiding customers with meal preparation and shopping
  • Providing social support and transportation to various activities
  • Assisting with personal care tasks like getting ready for the day, medication management, mobility support, and therapy goals
  • Offering respite care and emotional support
  • Transporting customers to appointments and providing social support
  • Dedicating special attention to clients with complex care needs such as dementia

What we seek in a Care Worker?

  • You exhibit genuine care for the elderly to help them maintain independence at home
  • You possess a valid Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle for travel
  • You remain composed during challenging situations, understanding that setbacks are part of the job
  • Availability for at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, without night or weekend shifts
  • Comfortable with independent work and problem-solving, while seeking help when needed
