Our client, a local government sector organization based in Western Sydney, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Executive Assistant/Paralegal to provide administrative and legal support to their Corporate Council.

This is a temp to perm contract position, with hourly rates up to $46 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Corporate Council, including managing their calendar, scheduling appointments, and preparing documents and reports.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with the preparation of legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and policies.
  • Assist with the management of legal matters, including litigation, disputes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records and files, both electronic and hard copy.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including other departments, external legal counsel, and community members.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in administration or in legal services
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability and commitment to providing excellent customer service internal and external
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality whilst meeting strict deadlines
  • Understanding and commitment to ethical practice and acting with probity at all times
  • Current class C licence.

This will be:

  • Working Monday to Friday
  • 9am to 5pm
  • Rate up to 46 per hour
  • Starting ASAP
