The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Head of B2B Enterprise Sales to join our Samsung Australia Mobile Experience (MX) B2B team. You will be working closely with MX B2B management team on strategic direction and core sales execution and reporting.


You will be the coaching and leading a team of MX B2B BDMs, responsible for supporting industry focused strategies, setting objectives and allocation of resources while having the direct ownership for the Financial Services Industry strategy and sales targets for revenue.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to accommodate achievement of sales goals
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals
  • Oversee industry strategy and sales execution to grow Samsung's market share specific to Financial Services, Government, Healthcare, Education, Mining & Construction and Retail & Supply Chain industries
  • MX B2B lead for strategy development, engagement and sales into Financial Services Industry
  • Oversee staffing, training and performance evaluations for the Sales team to develop and enhance people capability and retention
  • In coordination with the Head of Operator Channel and Head of Open Channel, help direct channel development activity.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with Business Development Managers
  • Meet with key clients, assisting the team with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Coordinate liaison with support divisions, ie. finance, sales support, credit, claims, logistics, HR, Legal on processes, procedures, reporting, ad hoc and ongoing issues
  • Regular sales reporting and forecasting accuracy
  • Work with HQ and RHQ on ad hoc requests
  • Operate with a One Samsung mentality; engaging proactively with B2C and Consumer Electronics divisions to drive greater results
  • Ensure all activities comply with Acts and Regulations as well as adherence to local and global Samsung policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as directed from time to time by management
Skills and Qualifications

  • University Degree preferred, but not essential
  • 510 years of senior B2B sales management experience is required
  • Proven experience leading or as a key member of a large sales team
  • Mobile/Telecom/Consumer Electronics Industry relevant experience preferred
  • Able to demonstrated budget / P&L management
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to be able to influence at all levels
  • Excellent presentation skills with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work within a fastpaced, dynamic and growing environment
