Description

The primary focus of an Inbound Engagement Specialist (IES) is to manage prospects and customers inquiries into the Oracle Global Industry Units (GIUs). The mission is to provide rapid response and a superior customer experience. The IES connects over product inquiry channel with the goal of identifying specific business needs and pains and connecting prospects & customers with relevant sales resources within Oracle GIUs. As an IES, you will act as the first contact for many prospects who are interested in starting sales cycles for industry specific solution. An IES qualifies prospects and produces quality leads & opportunities for the GIU Field Sales Teams, contributing to pipeline generation.

  • Connect with prospects through a variety of inbound multi-channels, including phone, email, and chat.
  • Uncover & qualify customer needs by understanding business challenges.
  • Closely monitor inbound leads from various channels and ensure efficient response, follow-up, and conversion.
  • Align closely with the GIU sales team members to progress opportunities.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills & effective collaboration with internal various departments.

Requirements:

  • You have at minimum 5 years of relative work experience working in an outbound sales/business development role and/or Industry domain experience.
  • You have 2+ years' experience in sales and/or a business development outbound prospecting role.
    • Software and technology experience is not required.
  • Ability to speak Japanese or Korean due to the need to converse with accounts in Japan/Korea
  • Industry domain and inbound experience preferred.
