Job Description

• Work independently on lighter duties while assisting the Chef de Partie and senior chefs with mise en place and service;
• Collaborate with various departments as needed;
• Progress towards the role of a CDP with the support of training, experience, and knowledge;
• Prepare and present dishes;
• Show flexibility by working independently when necessary;
• Primarily assist the culinary team and provide valuable support;

Qualifications

• A valid food safety certificate and qualification as a chef are required;
• Expected to report low stock and assist with ordering;
• Minimum of two years Commis Level experience (excluding training);
• Adaptability and flexibility are expected, with evening shifts, and occasional weekend shifts;
• Once trained, our new Demi Chef will be expected to proficiently use all kitchen equipment, ensuring Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), health, and food safety
• standards are maintained;
