The Role


An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and efficient Theatre Assistant to become a permanent member of the Perioperative Department at Greenslopes Private Hospital.

As the Operating Theatre Assistant, you will be joining a small, dynamic team where you will:

  • Prepare patients for their procedures and organise the flow of patients through the department
  • Assist with patient positioning in procedure rooms/operating theatres
  • Cleaning and preparation of equipment
  • Have flexibility to work a variety of shifts between 5:30am and 8:30pm Monday to Friday
  • Work efficiently in a fastpaced environment and be able to stand for long periods of time

Your Skills and Experience
You love the challenge and satisfaction of working at the top level of practice in private health care. You are a self-motivated individual with the ability to work effectively according to directions.

  • Previous experience in a Theatre / Hospital environment advantageous
  • Previous experience working in a similar role is desirable
