Supervisor C10 Welding

Welding Supervisor - Bayswater

We are currently seeking to employ an Experienced Welding Supervisor with a Mechanical QA/QC background in Fixed plant / Mining Maintenance inspections.

You will need to have 5+ years experience in Welding Inspections and carry a AS1796 cert 10 or similar.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
(not limited to)

• Take initiative to control identified hazards in the workplace.
• Proactively report incidents, near misses and hazards to a responsible manager/supervisor.
• Participate in toolbox talks and training programs relating to safety.
• Participate in incident investigations, risk assessments, inspections and audits as required by Downer.
• Comply with all applicable laws.
• Build relationships with Stakeholders

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL NEED:

• 5 + Years Experience in a same / similar industry (Fixed plant/mining maintenance)
• Appropriate Trade + Technical Qualifications (Cert 10 Welding Supervisor AS1796)
• QA/QC Experience with Mechanical or Welding Background
• Experience leading a multipledisciplinary environment
• Demonstrated experience with emphasis on Principle of QA, Project related systems, including weld tracking data bases, and Quality control standards
• Good Communication skills, interpersonal Skills and persuasive negotiation skills
• Time management skills
• Computer Literacy skills
