About the role:
Lead Civil Engineer required to work on a key iron ore project. Will be part of a well-regarded engineering and project delivery consultant.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of engineers and designers in a multi-discipline project team of approximately 35 members.
- Spearhead the development of your team and provide technical leadership and advice throughout all project lifecycle stages - from feasibility studies and design strategies to construction and commissioning.
- Produce tender documentation, design documentation, specifications, and project deliverables.
- Apply engineering principles to create practical solutions that meet client requirements.
- Coordinate the production of documentation and project deliverables within agreed timeframes and budget.
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.
Key criteria:
- Formal Civil Engineering qualifications recognized by Engineers Australia.
- Previous consultant engineering background.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience with a strong technical civil engineering background.
- Strong experience in civil engineering projects within the mining industry.
- Experience leading small civil engineering teams.
- Good understanding of budgets, schedules, and excellent stakeholder skills.
- Strong reporting and project documentation skills.
- Excellent safety attitude and knowledge of industry guidelines.
