Furniture Removalist

Come join our team We are Hermitage Staging and based in Armadale we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals, who possess a good attitude, initiative and a strong work ethic.

About the Role

The key focus of this role is to assist the stylist in installing and removing furniture from home staging projects and our warehouse this includes the following responsibilities:

• Loading/ Unloading, delivery, installation and pack up of furniture from homes
• Disassemble furniture if required for removal
• Assembly of new furniture
• Organise stored furniture when required
• Position furniture for staging / stylist as requested
• Hang wall art
• Keeping warehouse in order and clean
• Repair furniture if necessary

To be considered:
To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and experience.

• Ability to lift & manoeuvre furniture (Without damage)
• Fit and able to to carry heavy items
• Ability to work briskly and keep within time frames
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise, multitask and problem solve
• Knows how to pack a truck (without damaging our stock and fitting all stock in that is required)
• Neat and tidy presentation
• Drivers license
• Able to use apps such as, google maps, google calendar & what's app
• Punctual and reliable is a must

Ideal but not essential

• Furniture removal experience
• Warehousing experience
• Confident driving a small truck and Van
• Furniture repairs

Hours Available

Currently our moving days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays we don't guarantee work on these days nor full days, our hours are 8:30am - approximately 4pm with the chance of shorter days depending on jobs etc.

This is a casual position with some crazy weeks and some quieter. The position would suit a student or someone wanting a second income or extra work during the week We don't not operate on weekends

Hourly rate ($25 - $35)

This will be based off your experience to begin with once you get through your probation period we will reassess.
