About the Roles
AWX are currently seeking experienced Underground Loader Operators to join our team.- Operate underground loaders safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform preoperational checks and regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Load and transport materials such as ore, rock, and other materials using underground loaders.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or operations.
- Loaders to operated: Cat 1700's and 2900's and/or Sandvik 514, 517 and 621's
TO BE CONSIDERED:
- Must hold a valid Australian manual drivers licence (with no restrictions)
- Ability to obtain a low risk medical
- Must be able to pass a D&A
- Willingness to complete all mine site training / inductions required to work on the mine site.
- Valid underground loader operator certification or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to underground mining operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness to work in underground mining environments and adhere to strict safety and operational guidelines.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in a mining environment.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
- Positions based in Mount Isa on a local mine site.
- Flights, Accom & Meals provided for FIFO workers.
- 7ON 7 OFF Day/Night rotating roster
- Ongoing roles for approx. 6 months with possibility of extension
