The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Research Fellow in the SPHERE Centre of Research Excellence, to join the Department of General Practice to coordinate the research activities of the SPHERE Research Program, including the management of two studies:
- The ORIENT trial focused on trialing the effectiveness of nurse-led models of care at increasing access to long-acting reversible contraception and medical abortion services in rural general practice; and
- Extend PREFER investigating whether an online consumerfocused educational video changes uptake of effective contraception among young women.
This position will be responsible for managing the project deliverables and driving project communications across the different stages of work and the teams responsible for them.
Ideally we are seeking someone with a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline area or equivalent qualifications or research experience.
