The role


The Bid Manager will be responsible for leading the bid management process and overseeing the development and submission of high-quality proposals for South Australia's largest infrastructure projects.

As a key member of the team, the Bid Manager will work collaboratively with the project teams, business development team, and other key stakeholders to ensure that bids are delivered on time, to the highest standard and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the bid management process from initial identification of opportunities through to submission and debrief
  • Develop and maintain a bid library, ensuring that all information is uptodate and relevant to the current market
  • Coordinate and manage the proposal development process, including identifying the key proposal themes, creating a win strategy, and developing and reviewing content
  • Work closely with the project teams to ensure that the bid is aligned with the company's strategic objectives and is technically compliant
  • Ensure that all submissions are completed to a high standard, are well written, and visually appealing
  • Coordinate with the business development team to develop effective marketing materials to support the proposal development process
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Bid Management role
  • Experience working on largescale infrastructure projects, preferably in the civil engineering sector
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and coordinating proposal development and submission
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A relevant degree qualification in Engineering, Business, or a related field is desirable
