The Role
Bielby is experiencing a period of sustained growth and as a result are seeking a
Safety Advisor reporting to the Project Manager, driving excellence in the overall delivery of an Inner-City Transport Main Roads Project, duties including:

• Providing support and active mentoring to the project team in all matters of Health, Safety.
• Assisting the Project Manager to ensure all notices are served on external bodies.
• Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
• Liaising with the client or the client's representative.
• Being proactive in the improvement of the Bielby Management System.
• Reporting health and safety incidents, investigations, improvements and statistics to senior management.
• Performing duties for the site audit, inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with Project standards
• Identifying potential issues and provide solutions to any HSE related matters

About You

• Tertiary Qualifications in Health and Safety such as Cert IV Workplace Health and Safety or other suitable specialisation to meet the project requirement is preferred.
• 5 years minimum experience in civil construction industry in a similar role.
• Ideally Civil Construction experience on Transport Main Roads projects
• Whitecard trained/inducted.
• Chain of Responsibility Frontline
• CivilPro
• Preemployment Medical
