Advantaged Care at Prestons

Lodge is our beautiful 132 bed aged care residence located in Prestons (near Liverpool). The residence brings an unprecedented level of affordable luxury to Aged Care and is designed to create an inviting, comfortable, calm and peaceful environment for our residents and families to enjoy.

We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist / Administrator on a full-time basis.

About the role:


As a Receptionist / Administrator at Prestons Lodge, you will be working Monday to Friday, providing reception, administrative and rostering support to the Facility Manager and the Director of Care.

As our Receptionist / Administrator, you will be a well presented professional with outstanding customer service and administration skills. We are looking for a self-starter with exceptional organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills.

You will be a flexible office all-rounder who enjoys working in a busy environment, adding value and contributing to making a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents.


The successful applicant will hold:

  • At least 2 years' experience in similar roles, preferably in aged care.
  • Well presented with a professional, friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Excellent communications, customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Task focused with an ability to time manage, prioritise and multitask.
  • Strong administration skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- intermediate Microsoft Office Skills.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Greeting all visitors as the first point of contact with Advantaged Care
  • Managing all telephone calls in a professional and polite manner
  • Responding to queries or requests where possible, alternatively referring stakeholders or customers to the appropriate source.
  • Play a pivotal role in the management of the staff roster and the administration of the rostering system.
  • Provide administrative support to the Facility Manager and Director of Care.
  • Establishing and maintaining systems and processes for all administrative areas of the office
  • Maintaining office supplies
  • General adhoc duties and responsibilities
