About the opportunity:
Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Have a thorough knowledge of the Religious Education and Mathematics curriculum
  • Teachers of Religious Education and Mathematics to plan for and implement effective learning and teaching by negotiating with students to develop individual, explicit, challenging and achievable learning goals
  • Designing conceptually coherent learning programmes using research evidence and appropriate teaching strategies
  • Analyses and evaluates a student's learning by using a range of strategies for providing feedback in relation to the student's current and future learning
  • Committed to the continual improvement of their teaching practice by using professional teaching standards and key educational and Church documents to evaluate regularly their professional knowledge, practice and engagement

Qualification & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Education
  • NESA Accreditation
  • Statements of Service
  • Working with Children Check clearance (essential)
  • Exceptional communication skills
