About the Role

The purpose of this role is to work closely with Group Risk and Stakeholders across the product division and broader group business divisions playing a key role in supporting the operation of BOQ's residential valuation and vendor management.


This role will also be responsible for:

  • Representative for CoreLogic, PropTrack and Panel Valuation firms
  • Ongoing review of CoreLogic Management fees, Panel Valuers fees, Valuation mix to ensure it align with Home Buying Composition Strategy
  • Processing of payment for CoreLogic and PropTrack's monthly invoices
  • Monitor the payment of CoreLogic valuation fees to ensure it is maintained within Budget
  • Monitor and deliver Valex system enhancement to meet business requirements; manage system continuity and BCP / ORCA reporting
  • Documenting and maintaining process and procedures for residential valuations
  • Manages branch requests for valuation reassignments and escalations
  • Responsible for the management of all residential property panels for BOQ, VMA and ME branded home loans.
  • Identification and implementation of valuation continous improvements.
  • Supporting leaders with adhoc tasks, projects and activities as required.

About you

  • A deep knowledge of retail banking products and business processes including lending platforms and other related software/systems.
  • Previous experience in Project Management is desired.
  • 2+ years' experience in an analytical and communications role, ideally gained in a fastpaced financial services environment.
  • Sound understanding of compliance and regulatory obligations
  • Demonstrated experience in developing datadriven, lifecycle communications and procedures, which are designed to align/enhance the customer experience and with a real focus on simplification.
  • Demonstrate clear and successful problemsolving skill
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), with demonstrated experience in communicating complex changes in presentations.
  • Excellent attention to detail in developing and executing solutions to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated exceptional ability in managing multiple initiatives at a time, ensuring overlap in customer impacts are articulated and proactively managed.
  • Previous experience in working with policies, procedures, and processes for financial services products, with a healthy understanding of risk considerations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to interpret data to draw conclusions and provide insight.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
