This is a leave replacement position for Semester 2, commencing from 22 July and concluding 13 December 202- Year - 8 Art

  • Year 8 Project Based Learning
  • Year 9/10 Interior Design

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Bachelor of Education and or other equivalent academic qualification specific to the specialist area of education and Tasmanian teacher registration.
  • A passion for working with young people and the ability to engage and challenge them in a dynamic learning environment;
  • A comprehensive understanding of current educational matters, including the Australian Curriculum;
  • Demonstrated innovation in the teaching of curriculum and student learning;
  • Outstanding classroom practice and comprehensive experience using Information Technology within the teaching and learning program;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to interact effectively with a range of school community members;
  • A commitment to the principles of equal opportunity in education for all students; and
  • A willingness to work within the School's Christian ethos and actively support the values and philosophy of the School.

Remuneration
Remuneration is in accordance with the successful applicant's experience and the St Michael's Collegiate School (Teachers) Enterprise Agreement.
