An opportunity has become available for a Dietitian (Paediatrics) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will- Manage an allocated paediatric nutrition workload to deliver a professional level of nutrition and dietetic services to patients in the health service and across the continuum of care
- Undertake routine nutrition assessment, implementation and evaluation tasks within established clinical and departmental protocols, policy and procedures
- Utilise professional knowledge, clinical skills, judgement and problemsolving ability, developing skills and experience to the level of routine evidencebased day to day clinical practice
- Actively participate in paediatric multidisciplinary teams and in service improvement activities, working cooperatively and effectively within the paediatric team
To be successful in this position you will require:
- A possession of a tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised tertiary institution
- To be eligible for membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia and accredited practicing credential
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card
- QLD Health will meet the cost)
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 1
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

- Base salary ranging from $ $ per fortnight
