Join us on a long-term contract spanning 12+ months in Western Australia's Pilbara region, based out of Perth with a 2:1 FIFO roster. This role demands flexibility and mobility, with availability required for night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as a fly-in-fly-out team member. Projects will entail working on BHP projects, overseeing the preparation and supervision of the BHP RTP Project signaling installation, on-site and/or onboard, supporting the installation and testing/commissioning teams and other stakeholders as per project guidelines and schedule.

Your future role

Embrace a new challenge and leverage your supervisory skills within the team. Your responsibilities will involve close collaboration with teams, overseeing installation execution, testing, and commissioning activities while providing guidance and support to the installation teams and subcontractors. You will ensure that all installation activities comply with D&IS Installation and FO Process, preparing installation tasks and confirming readiness for execution.

We'll count on you for

  • Oversee operational coordination of all project activities related to on-site operations
  • Apply the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Installation procedures based on design documentation, reporting any deviations or requirements
  • Ensure that EHS requirements and special processes are clearly outlined in the JHA
  • Report on field activities and address any issues, including non-conformities
  • Ensure activities are conducted as per schedule and in alignment with quality standards
  • Support the handover process to the Test & Commissioning team/client

  • Extensive experience in railway site management and EHS management
  • Project planning and control expertise in site management contexts
  • Comprehensive knowledge of railway operations and signaling systems
  • Valid driving license
  • White card certification
