Reporting to the Senior Business Partnering Manager this parental leave 4 month contract role (starting in Aug) will manage all aspects payroll for 140 domestic office staff, and 100 international field based staff for MSF Australia and MSF New Zealand.

With a focus on end to end payroll this collaborative role will ensure compliance across financial guidelines and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain relationships

Accountabilities will include:

  • Processing salaries and allowances,
  • Managing payroll processes and ensure strict compliance with ATO,
  • Admin and reconciliation of employee leave and superannuation entitlements,
  • Upload payroll journals and reconcile the payroll related general ledgers monthly,
  • Completion of Workers Compensation renewals,
  • Provide payroll reporting and audit support
  • Maintain and manage Preceda (payroll system)

Requirements:


To be successful in this accountable and autonomous position, you will be known for your understanding of finance systems and natural ability to engage with others.

You will have a high attention to detail and will be motivated by working in the humanitarian aid sector.

Ideally you can demonstrate the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting and previous payroll experience;
  • Capable time management skills and well developed problem solving ability;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
  • Confident MS Office. NetSuite and Preceda systems experience will be well regarded.
