Reporting to the Manager (FC Solutions and Innovation), the
Analyst, Financial Crime Solutions & Innovation is responsible for supporting with the execution of data analytics and technology capability uplift within financial crime at Crown.
This role will work closely with Crown's FC and internal Group Technology/Data teams to implement robust and innovative FC technology and data analytics solutions.
This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the FC team and relevant internal technology/data teams to deliver digital transformation across the FC function and ensure that Crown continues to meet regulatory requirements and mitigate business/regulatory risks
- Provide high level business requirements to enable Group Technology/Data teams to complete discovery and implementation activities
- Work closely with the FC delivery and change team to deliver end user training and business support/hypercare activities
- Support the HO Solutions and Innovation with the vendor assessment and selection process (as required)
- Executing data analytics and data visualisation activities (e.g. customer and transaction analysis and profiling) to support Crown's financial crime function
- Executing advanced analytics (e.g. machine learning models) to support digital transformation across the FC function
- Ensure data quality, completeness and accuracy of the data analytics and visualisation activities performed
Key selection criteria:
- Practical experience using data analytics and data visualisation tools (e.g. SQL, Splunk, Python, R, Tableau, PowerBI etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in the implementation of financial crime data analytics initiatives within the financial services and/or gaming industry
- Proven ability to perform threshold tuning/calibration for financial crime systems and models.
- Working experience using data analytics to support MI reporting
- Experience working in a financial crime risk management and/or regulatory environment is advantageous
- Qualification or degree (or undertaking a Degree) in a relevant discipline (e.g. Data Science, Information Technology, Business Management; Law; MBA etc.) is desirable
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required Casino Employee Licences
