This role involves service and repair of industrial air and gas compressors, gas engines and associated equipment.
Candidates can look forward to an interesting and varied role with travel to customer's sites locally and interstate as well as workshop activities.
Depending on experience of candidates, they may be considered for Workshop, Service Technician and/ or Supervisor role.
This role will involve:
Scheduled maintenance and overhaul of Compressors, Gas Engines, Rotating Machinery & associated equipment The accurate and timely recording of data related to work performed Fault finding and problem solving Installation and commissioning of equipment Working closely with HOERBIGER sales and service personnel. Maintaining relationships with customers to promote and retain business Participation in training and development opportunities and sharing knowledge with colleaguesWhat you'll need to succeed
Relevant formal education and training (Trade Qualifications in Fitting and Machining or Equivalent)
Experience in working with Compressors, Gas Engines and /or associated equipment (Oil and Gas experience an advantage) Excellent communication & organisational skills High attention to detail and ability to work independently or within small teams An understanding of quality, safety and environmental systems and principals A willingness to travel domestically, and occasionally to remote locations for service work at client facilities (Field Service) A current Drivers License and PassportThe position is full time 38 ordinary hours onsite Monday to Friday with the opportunity of overtime.
You will need to have the right to work in Australia to accept this position.
