Your future role


You'll play a critical role in minimising the impacts of operations on the environment, across our manufacturing, maintenance and construction projects.

You will also be responsible for developing and deploying the ANZ environment strategy and programs, in this strategic and operational standalone role.


We'll look to you for:

  • Providing on the ground operational support and expertise to the Projects and Sites.
  • Defining the Alstom ANZ environment strategy.
  • Building & deploying environmental programs to meet environmental objectives.
  • Supporting the tendering process for environmental related topics.
  • Developing environmental knowledge and culture in Alstom ANZ.
  • Supporting the development of the environment management system.
  • Measuring, reviewing and reporting on performance and improving these processes.

  • Demonstrated experience in similar role and significant operational experience deploying environmental programs.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental impact analysis and auditing.
  • Detailed understanding of ISO14001 and local legal environmental requirements.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or similar.
  • Experience in rail, transport, manufacturing, heavy industry or similar advantageous, but is not essential.
