  • Role Summary
  • We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant who will be responsible for successful project implementations including post golive support in the ANZ region for the Dedalus Amphi product.
  • Projects are focused on implementation of Dedalus' software and solutions into new and existing customers (public and private hospitals and other healthcare providers), along with integrating the broader portfolio of Dedalus offerings including cloud, workplace, security, and analytics solutions.
  • This role will work closely with the Amphi Stakeholders including the Solution Specialist, Functional Consultants, Project and Product Managers, Support and Development teams to define, document and deliver Project requirements. During project downtime, the Amphi Technical Consultant will provide support services to ANZ clients.
  • You are required to be able to contribute to the design, the creation, and the delivery of a solution to our customers. This solution may involve a single, or several Dedalus products including existing products and new generation products not yet implemented at sites.
  • Development within the role will lead to further internal cross training of other staff members, and growth opportunities to become proficient in other Dedalus ANZ related solutions.
  • The role includes interaction with resources from across the globe to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Job Functions
  • Provide support for Dedalus clients under the direction of the PS Clinical Solutions Manager
  • Assist Project Manager/s in the execution of project activities
  • Technical, Performance and Integration User Acceptance Testing
  • System customisations during an installation as indicated in the contract
  • Software issue reporting, investigation, and resolution
  • Regression/deliverable testing on patch upgrades/ to client sites
  • Documentation of run sheets, solution guides, knowledge base articles etc.
  • Client training/consultations for the Amphi product suite
  • Advanced SQL query design for database interrogation
  • Liaising with clients re: technical queries/possible change requests
  • Establishment of new site databases (configuration and other aspects)
  • Manage client data discrepancies/faults
  • Primary technical point of contact during software implementation
  • Identifying issues/enhancements during implementation phase and reporting these to relevant Project Managers and Development heads.
  • Participate in tender responses for completion of functional and technical responses
  • Assist Sales with Product queries
  • Contribute to our aspirations as a thought leader and innovator regarding improving healthcare outcomes
  • Assist in the education and mentoring of other staff to provide greater levels of customer engagement and improve the quality of service and software delivery
  • Participate in issue identification and rectification as required with support and product management teams
  • Delivery of the technical aspects of Implementation Planning Studies prior to implementation of Dedalus product or solutions
  • Perform a key role in Post-Implementation Reviews after the implementation of Dedalus product or solutions
Education & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years Technical Amphi (or similar webbased clinical information management system) experience.
  • Highly developed experience and skills in presentation delivery and public communication
  • Highlevel of knowledge with Health Industry Skills in business analysis, and requirement definition
  • Experience in the implementation/support of clinical information management systems upgrade and greenfield.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a demonstrated history of customer service excellence.
  • Strong skills in building organized processes and structured formal documentation
  • Experience writing design specification documents
  • Application interfacing experience. HL7, Web Services, FHIR (highly desirable), HTML (desirable)
  • Experience in SQL query creation, database interrogation, and issue analysis.
  • Experience with SQL Server administration is desirable.
  • Experience in the support and maintenance of a Windows Server environment
  • Experience in Cloud Service offerings (Azure desirable)
  • Experience with tools such as Office 365, D365 and Service Now.
  • Willingness to constantly learn new methodologies and technologies
  • Work Environment
  • Adelaide preferred OR any of our CBD locations
  • Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney
  • Combination of office environment, customer location or remote working. Dedalus follow all local rules and regulations for COVID19 working conditions.
  • Some travel for customer meetings or project "go lives" domestic and or international.
  • Some flexibility with working hours as required to work with Dedalus teams in different time zones.
