Elliott Gray are teaming up again with one of our favourite commercial clients, The Ainslie Group. The unique model to which the Ainslie Group operates is a credible addition to the hospitality landscape in the ACT and surrounds. Together with dedicated employees and sporting affiliations, it provides a dynamic culture for the community. Today, the group boasts two unique venues in the Canberra Community being the Ainslie Football and Social Club and the Gungahlin Lakes Golf and Community Club.

This time we are helping them find their new HR Coordinator to join the team. A crucial role within the organisation providing support to senior management and all staff ensuring operation of HR Matters.

As HR Coordinator, you are the first line of enquiry for a variety of people, culture, talent, learning and development matters, providing routine advice and support to key stakeholders. This doesn't mean that you are someone that has all the answers, but it must mean that you are someone that can seek out answers by discussing with external advisors such as industry bodies, insurance brokers and solicitors.

We are looking for someone who is methodical and organised to work in this position. Even though you will be working in a reactive environment with a variety of moving parts, we want you to have the ability to strategize and think ahead. You will be responsible for handling fair work issues, long term workers compensation settlements and taking charge of issuing all contracts after running successful recruitment rounds.

You must be someone that is patient and committed to working closely with staff in all areas of the business to develop relationships to further progress them as you will be the one to answer questions regarding their employment duties. Experience of working across different awards will be appreciated but not particularly necessary. You will be coinciding strictly with the Federal Club award for all leave, public holidays, and payment issues across all staff.

Okay so we have talked about the job, but what will you need to be successful? Well firstly, you need to be confident in delivering the above. So, you need to be someone that is resourceful, resilient and who can influence others positively.

Ideally you are someone who have completed a degree or diploma in the HR field or has had experience working in Human Resources. However, we are open to looking at all applicants at this stage.

If you align with all the above, then don't waste time in applying now If you have further questions regarding the role or just want to have a chat, give me a call on or email Chat soon
