About the Role


Our Catering team play an integral role in the delivery of all catering requirements within the firm, ensuring a seamless delivery of service for all meetings and client events.

Reporting to the Catering Supervisor your role will include:

  • Greet client and staff to provide services including barista, waiter service, food preparation, plating service and handling
  • Clear, clean, setup and configure as appropriate kitchens, client meeting rooms, conferences rooms, lunches, functions and events
  • Cleaning & maintenance of catering equipment, including washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls and loading and unloading the dishwasher
  • Review meeting bookings & events on a daily basis to determine the associated requirements
  • Act as a conduit between the business, Reception and Facilities
  • Undertake receptionist responsibilities when required, including answering and routing incoming calls and faxes on a multiline telephone system
  • Maintaining and general upkeep of the conference rooms, reception waiting area, lobby and other public areas in the office
  • Adherence to employment regulations and awards and to all health and safety requirements, including food hygiene regulations
  • Service of all staff kitchen areas ensuring supplies are stocked, coffee machines are maintained and serviced regularly. Maintain a clean and tidy workspace

About You

  • Demonstrate a strong focus on meeting customer expectations; you are familiar with anticipating your customer's needs and taking action to meet them
  • You pride yourself on your organisational skills; you are highly organised, able to plan and prioritise work to meet key deliverables
  • A proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships, in particular the ability to earn the confidence and trust of key stakeholders
  • Good influencing and negotiation capability
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and offer practical solutions
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Work collaboratively with your colleagues and team to achieve outcomes and ensure the customer gets exceptional service
  • Responds appropriately and quickly to customers' enquiries or requests
