Our client is a well established and reputable Australian owned meat processing company with a history that spans more than 60 years. They are a supplier to some of our countries largest retail businesses and continue to expand their diverse product offering to the market.

As part of their continuing growth, they are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Production Supervisor to coordinate the flow of activities across their busy operations.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that all WHS policies & procedures are adhered to as a key focus in all activities undertaken by your team during your shift.
  • Supervising a team of up to 30 staff in a high pressure environment.
  • Coordinating the loading and dispatch of transport for delivery of product to customers.
  • Data entry and control of information in to excel spreadsheets and completion of all relevant paperwork.
  • Labour planning and performance management of your team of staff to ensuring optimal efficiencies are achieved on your shift.

To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous boning, production or butcher experience, with previous exposure to poultry.
  • A track record of leading and motivating a team of staff to strict time lines and KPIs.
  • A strong level of computer literacy with confidence in using a range of Microsoft Suite programs, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Physically capable of managing the demands of a hands-on, fast paced, meat processing/manufacturing environment.
  • An analytical mind and the ability to problem solve under pressure.
