About the Role

SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for a Production Supervisor to join our highly professional and skilled DMC Quarry Team.

This is a full-time, "hands-on" role based in Tenterfield, NSW where you will be responsible for the on-site supervision of multiple crushing and screening activities, people and resources to deliver effective and cost efficient outcomes on crushing and screening projects.

The Production Supervisor must have an understanding and working knowledge of mobile and fixed plant crushing and screening equipment together with prior experience in a site supervisory role on large or multiple projects.

Strong people supervision skills together with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels are important, as are sound planning and organisations skills. It is critical they hold the ability to identify and effectively respond to problems, as is possessing a positive, flexible and hands on approach to all operations.

Responsibilities will include Place a high priority on workplace health and safety and ensure that all WHS practices are followed at all times Responsible for production planning and material quality activities Track and maintain sufficient stock levels Manage the coordination of employees, subcontractors, procurement, plant and equipment Monitor crushing and screening to ensure the effective utilisation of all site resources Provide technical advice, support and assistance to quarry staff Ensure that all crushing and screening operations are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, IMS and legislation and standards Provide on-the-job training for staff by carrying out quarrying supervision, quality control, and production Keep informed of all developments in Mine legislative requirements, industry standards and best practices in quarrying Essential Skills and Attributes Certificate IV Surface Extraction Operations (highly regarded) Proven "hands-on" experience in fixed and mobile crushing / screening and quarrying Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge of crushing and screening plant An ability to manage and achieve corporate and client objectives Exceptional individual and team leadership, coaching and interpersonal skills Understanding of regulatory, governance and community requirements An ability to work to production targets and manage competing priorities in a high volume work environment Relationship management, conflict management and resolution and problem solving expertise, with an ability to think outside the box What we offer We offer competitive remuneration and a range of benefits including salary packaging and access to Toyota Fleet Discounts.
