Fitters and Welders

Programmed are currently recruiting multiple positions for both Fitters and Welders to work with our client based in the Kempsey area. This is an ongoing assignment with a mix of project and maintenance work

Essential Skills / Experience for this position:

  • Relevant Trade qualifications (Cert III Engineering - Mechanical Trade) or (Cert III Engineering - Boiler making/Welding)
  • Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
  • Have the ability to quickly diagnose and fault find issues on fast moving machinery
  • Be reliable and work both autonomous and as part of a team
  • You must also be able to multi task and deliver consistent results
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, and Drug and Alcohol screening

Desirable

  • Confined space tickets
  • Forklift licence
  • Safe working at heights
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
