Learning Tutor

Bella's Wonderland is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Casual Learning Tutor to join our team.

As a Casual Learning Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in providing educational support and guidance to children in a vibrant and creative learning environment.

We are looking for an individual who is dedicated to fostering a love for learning, is adept at working with children, and holds reliability and child safety as top priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Child-Centric Learning:
Create an engaging and supportive learning environment that caters to the individual needs and learning styles of children. Foster a sense of curiosity, exploration, and critical thinking.

Educational Assistance:
Provide group tutoring sessions to help children grasp academic concepts and develop essential learning skills.

Enthusiastic Mentorship:
Cultivate a positive and supportive relationship with children, motivating them to set and achieve academic and personal goals. Inspire a lifelong love for learning by demonstrating genuine enthusiasm for education.

Progress Monitoring:
Regularly assess the academic progress and development of each child, adjusting teaching methods as necessary. Provide constructive feedback to parents or guardians regarding their child's learning journey.

Safety and Compliance:
Maintain a safe and secure environment for children at all times. Uphold the highest standards of child safety and adhere to all relevant regulations. Possess and maintain a valid blue card or equivalent child safety certification.

Collaborative Communication:

Work closely with parents, guardians, and Bella's Wonderland management to ensure a seamless flow of information regarding each child's learning goals, progress, and any concerns.

Documentation:
Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions, including student achievements, areas of improvement, and individualized learning plans.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their educational growth.
• Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring children in an academic or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and parents effectively.
• Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated on innovative teaching methods and educational trends.
• Demonstrated reliability and commitment to punctuality.
• Possession of a valid blue card is mandatory.
• Proficiency in adapting teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• High level of patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children facing learning challenges.

Working Conditions:

• This is a casual position with fixed hours during opening hours Monday
• Friday.
• The role involves direct interaction with children, requiring patience, energy, and a positive attitude.
• Work is typically conducted within Bella's Wonderland's facility.
