Description:

As the Production and Shipping Manager you will support our development business from both a production and shipping side.

Key responsibilities in production will include:

  • End-to-end management of our critical path for product development to ensure the team remains on track.
  • Liaising with factories on current and go forward business.
  • Manage price negotiation and production timelines with factories.
  • Work strategically with the Product Manager on supply base planning and allocating.
  • Ensure product is on track for confirmed delivery dates.

Key responsibilities in shipping will include:

  • Strategically working with our factories and shipping companies on ensuring stock is on the correct vessels to ensure our delivery dates.
  • Working strategically on shipping consolidations across our supply base.
  • Working directly with our shipping companies to ensure we are maximising cost and speed efficiencies.
  • Ensuring our warehouse is kept up to date with vessels and are allocating resources and space.
  • Ensuring quality standards are met.

Skills and Experiences:

To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience as a Production Manager with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience or as a Production Assistant with 3 years' experience minimum.
  • Knowledge or prior experience working with suppliers from both China and India.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate Excel ability.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in relation to the key criteria
