We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand / Cafe Assistant to join our Culinary Team at Glenrose Court, located in Glen Osmond.

Life Care have a range of shifts available and the role will be offered as Permanent Part-Time, working across a seven day roster.


The successful applicant will be self-motivated, engaged and demonstrate the ability to work as a key member of the team to delivery an excellent Culinary experience for our residents at Glenrose Court.


To be considered for the role, you will:

  • have relevant experience working within an industrial kitchen environment;
- take pride in your ability to work as a team to deliver a high-quality culinary service to our residents;
- have a sound understanding of safe food handling practices and infection control;
- have cafe and dining experience including barrista skills
- knowledge and understanding of what good customer service looks like

  • Have a genuine respect and empathy for the elderly and willingness to engage with our residents on a daily basis;
- be a friendly and flexible team member with a positive "can do" attitude
- provide flexibility to work across 7 days a week and assist in filling shifts at short notice when required;

  • Have evidence of a current 2023 Flu Vaccination, COVID19 Vaccination and current Police clearance to work in aged care (or willingness to obtain)
