Your new role

Are you passionate about maintaining and optimising mechanical infrastructure? Do you have a keen eye for detail and love the challenge of ensuring that all maintenance processes are captured accurately? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you Join our team and take on the responsibility of scheduling and actioning breakdown, backlog, and preventative maintenance for our university's mechanical infrastructure.

You will play a crucial role in identifying warranty, maintenance, and end-of-life requirements, as well as handling contract administration related to these maintenance activities. If you are ready to make a real impact and be part of a dynamic team, we want to hear from you

The responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and coordinating all maintenance requirements; managing contracts and contractors; maintaining equipment inventory and data; monitoring maintenance plans; providing operational training; preparing reports; and demonstrating professional conduct. Selection Criteria
Completion of an Advanced / Post Trade Certificate or equivalent with extensive relevant experience. Possession of a restricted electrical license and Australian Refrigeration Council accreditation. Experience in contract administration within a facilities management environment. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts and points of view in a clear, precise and logical manner both orally and in writing. Demonstrated experience in providing technical support and solving technical problems for all aspects of mechanical and HVAC maintenance, including building plant and equipment maintenance. Demonstrated HVAC & Controls related experience in a Maintenance environment. Demonstrated competence in the use of computer applications including Building Management System, Microsoft Office. Demonstrate organisational skills with the ability to plan, schedule and prioritise to meet deadlines and work objectives. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with limited direction as well as effectively as a member of a team. Desirable
