Your Opportunity

Are you passionate about ensuring clean and safe water for communities and the environment? We are looking for a dedicated Field Analytics Manager to lead our water quality monitoring and management efforts.

Our Environmental & Industrial Group contributes to Urban Utilities' purpose and vision by protecting the environment and public health through our core treatment services; being prepared for the future through the treatment solutions and growth opportunities of tomorrow; and enabling economic growth and prosperity through our customer and developer services.

The purpose of this role is to Enrich Quality of Life through providing strategic leadership and direction to a highly skilled field analytics team that manage the selection, logistics, analytics, installation, maintenance, and data associated with a wide range of field sampling and remote monitoring systems whilst ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of the team is managed.

This role creates value through partnering and collaborating with internal and external customers to ensure ongoing operational efficiency and compliance with environmental and product quality objectives.

Some of your accountabilities will include:

  • Monitor and review performance against HS&E KPIs, and patterns of behaviour within the area of responsibility
  • Take action improve performance and to resolve non-compliance with the organization's HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions.
  • Lead the review of existing operations and the implementation of innovation processes across the team to ensure the required continuous improvement outcomes are delivered.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.
  • Managing the deployment of appropriate internal and/or external resources to support the team in delivering their business strategy and plans.
  • Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the Field Analytics team; explain the relationship to the broader organisation's mission, vision and values; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
  • Ensure that business activities within the area of responsibility comply with relevant external regulatory and/or voluntary codes and with internal policies and procedures to minimize business risk and to protect the reputation of the organization.
