About the role
Due to contract growth, Babcock are looking for a Technical Officer to join our Counter - Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive (C-CBRNE) team


The C-CBRNE capability provides leading-edge technologies to prevent and defeat chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive threats used against Australia's national interests.

Babcock as the Prime Vendor for the supply of C-CBRNE goods and services provides Introduction into service activities and through life sustainment of the C-CBRNE Fleet.


Ideally you will have

  • Australian Citizen with an NV1 security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
  • Certificate III (or above) in a relevant technical discipline (electronics, electrical, mechanical, engineering, etc.).
  • Previous experience working within the Defence industry.
  • Previous experience using MILIS / SAP Programs.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and manage workload effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to consistently deliver a high level of customer service.
