Sustainability is a priority for SunRice and it is at the core of everything they do. Since their earliest days, they have understood that their success depends on sustaining the health of the fields and the communities in which they operate around the globe.

The role

Reporting to the Group Head of Sustainability, this newly created role will be responsible for supporting the Group to strengthen its environmental and social governance and its approach to sustainability reporting. This role is primarily responsible for establishing and managing governance systems that support the delivery of sustainability objectives and managing the Group's internal and external reporting on sustainability performance, programs and initiatives globally.

  • Develop, draft, and seek relevant approval of the sustainability content for the annual report, including alignment with GRI, Integrated Reporting and ISSB.
  • Develop and maintain a global sustainability platform for information management, acknowledging the complex and geographically diverse nature of the SunRice Group's business units, supply chain and data quality.
  • Develop, draft and seek relevant approval for broader sustainability reporting including, but not limited to, the SBTi reporting requirements, APCO Report, UN Global Compact Communication on Progress and other customer reporting requirements.
  • Influencing business unit stakeholders and major contractors and/or suppliers to deliver a consistently high standard of environmental and social performance and outcomes across the Group activities utilising organisational performance standards, systems and procedures.
