About The Role


We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced
Human Resources Manager to join our team, based on-site in Cheltenham VIC.

Reporting to the SVP of Human Resources of the Pacific & North East Asia region, you will operate within a fast-paced environment servicing a complex matrix structured organisation across our Door business in Australia and New Zealand.


Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Providing HR advice and partnership with the senior leadership, and a team of approximately 350 employees, located across Australia and New Zealand
  • Leading organisational effectiveness, design, employee engagement, change management, culture development, talent acquisition, performance and team effectiveness to build a highperformance culture
  • Devise and implement change management initiatives and programs which focus on people management and cultural change.
  • Proactively engage with and advise managers and key stakeholders on solutions which meet the current and future people management needs.
  • Providing appropriate support, advice and coaching to Line Managers in managing employee relations and people management matters ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policy.
  • Develop actionable plans to bridge gaps between current and required workforce needs and develop staffing plans to meet the needs for the future growth of the business.

About You
We are looking for an exceptional leader who has experience in a manufacturing environment. You will possess the ability to work hands on, act decisively and deliver consistently.

Key competencies and requirements include:

  • 5+ years' experience and successful performance in a previous Human Resource Manager or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in the full spectrum of Human Resources functions preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Strong IR/ER background with a demonstrated history of solving complex employment issues
  • Fully conversant with employment law in Australia and New Zealand
  • Adaptable and pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Strategic mindset with demonstrated experience in forecasting and planning
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively with Senior Leaders.
