Ngarra Jarra Aboriginal Health Program is committed to promoting the highest level of care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples by providing culturally appropriate and safe care to patients, their families and communities.

The Ngarra Jarra Aboriginal Health Program services all three campuses of Austin Health, including the Emergency Department through to bed-based services, and ongoing ambulatory care.


As the
Team Leader you will work collaboratively within a supportive team who are passionate about providing culturally supportive and best practice care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.

You will also be responsible for the operational management of the Ngarra Jarra Aboriginal Health Program.

You will also inform and assist the health service to identify and action a number of strategic priorities that strengthen the hospital response to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

You'll also provide high level and secondary consultation and clinical support to patients, and their families and community.
