Where and how you'll work

Our main hub is in Sydney, with additional locations in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide. You have the flexibility to choose where and how you work - whether it's in the office, remotely, or a mix of both.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead a data-driven approach to SEO to provide actionable insights for Canva's digital growth.
  • Collaborate with teams to align SEO data strategies with broader goals.
  • Manage a team of data scientists and drive impactful projects.
  • Contribute to data strategy and experiments to drive business metrics.
  • Create and maintain visually appealing dashboards for initiatives.
  • Utilize databases to tackle complex questions and promote data literacy.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading data teams and developing data roadmaps.
  • Familiarity with subscription-based data sets and collaborative products.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools like Python or R.
  • Background in optimizing product funnels, conducting experiments, and presenting results.

About the team:

You'll lead Canva's SEO data team for a 10-month parental leave cover, enhancing user traffic and search ranking strategies.
