Job Description

The Senior Product Manager will play a leading role in designing and delivering new product propositions to market and in optimising and maintaining our on-sale product offers. The role requires excellent problem solving skills and the ability to develop working relationships and lead a diverse range of stakeholders to efficiently implement change related to our products.

The Senior Product Manager will be accountable for the successful delivery of key business initiatives in the Direct and Retail channel and is responsible for driving supporting activity and engagement across the business.

The role requires energy, attention to detail and a 'can do' attitude. Resilience and motivation to succeed are critical to drive and mainain momentum in product management initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A life insurance subject matter expert with extensive experience and a deep understanding of Australian lump sum and disability products, the distribution, regulatory and legislative environment. Life insurance product management experience is mandatory.
  • A demonstrated history of effective risk management, delivery of significant initiatives and effective change management.
  • Ability to develop balanced solutions to complex problems, with careful consideration of both customer and commercial impacts.
  • Understand the mechanics of product definitions, assess their impact and have the ability to drive sustainability change.
  • Manage change and adapt quickly as business priorities change.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain influential and effective working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
