About You

Patient and emotionally resilient with effective listening skills & an adaptable communication style
Capability to advocate for others and build sustainable support networks
Making a positive contribution autonomously and within a team to achieve shared outcomes
Prior knowledge / experience supporting people with autism and mental health where challenging behaviours are common
Understanding and knowledge of the impacts of trauma
Confident ability to use IT systems across computer and mobile devices
You will be available to work each Friday 11am - 6pm & Saturday 9am - 5pm with additional shifts also available on a 2 week rotating roster.
About the Role
We assist & support individuals (consumers) in their own homes and community to develop skills and abilities to gain independence to complete day to day tasks.
The role entails:
Provide 1:1 & 2:1 support to consumers in their own home and community setting
Meet the individual needs according to an established behavioral support plan
Developing professional relationships with individuals, their families and others in the community
Providing accurate and timely case notes so that others can provide a consistent experience for the individual
Provide support to assist consumers to work towards their individual goals
