As a Data & Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial part in analysing, designing, and implementing efficient information systems aligned with the organisation's goals. You will be responsible for gathering insights from various data sources, interpreting patterns and trends, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes, mainly across their Billing System.
What you will do
- Consolidate and integrate data sources to provide a single source of truth and simplified architecture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytics requirements and provide innovative access/presentation methods.
- Analyse business processes and translate requirements into comprehensive system specifications.
- Design and document system architecture, data flow, and user interfaces.
- Improve the quality of underlying data and assist in process creation and documentation.
- Prepare accurate reporting and contribute to enterprise-wide data management approaches.
What you have done
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst/ Systems Analyst with a track record of successful system implementations.
- Strong knowledge of system analysis methodologies, design principles, and software development lifecycle.
- Previous experience in the Energy Sector is a must.
- Proficiency in programming languages, scripting, and database querying such as MySQL, Python, R, Power BI, MS Excel
- Experience in data models and reporting packages, with the ability to analyse large datasets and write comprehensive reports.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in technology solutions relevant to a smaller company, particularly cloud, analytics, and digital platform builds.
- Cross-team collaboration skills, influencing stakeholders and agencies to achieve goals and make a positive impact.
- Strong communication skills, effectively conveying ideas and collaborating with team members to achieve objectives.
