About Us:


Albany Creek State High School is located on the North Side of Brisbane, with approximately 1600 students, and is located 15 kilometres north of Brisbane.

The school receives most of its students from the Albany Creek, Albany Hills and Eatons Hill primary schools and is enrolment management which limits enrolments to within our catchment area or students who have gained successful entry into our Football (soccer), Dance, Drama, Visual Arts, Media Arts or Instrumental Music Excellence programs.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Monitoring students' individual performance and behaviour
  • Student leadership programs from Year 7 to Year 1
  • Management of a team of behaviour teachers specialising in case management
  • Management of the Learning Engagement Centre
  • Developing and implementing intervention strategies within the Learning Engagement Centre such as Restorative Practice, Mediation
  • Development and Leadership of house cultural activities
  • Line management of Student Representative Council. Interact and Peer Mentors
