This is your chance to be part of an organization working on multiple projects in Victoria's Big Build which is delivering 165 major road and rail projects, including Metro Tunnel, a second underground railway for Melbourne with 5 new stations, removal of 85 level crossings across Melbourne and the Melbourne Airport Rail.


We are currently lookingfor aOCMS Readiness Managerto support the successful delivery of what will be one of the most iconic projects in Melbourne, the highly anticipatedMetro Tunnel Project.


THE ROLE


In this role you will be responsible for partnering with key internal and external stakeholders to review and influence the Metro Tunnel delivery ensuring integrated processes and working procedures, improve safety, maintainability, cost efficiency and support a strong operations and maintenance performance for Day 1 operations.

This is an 18 month fixed term role, with hybrid working arrangement offered

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the development of the MTP Integrated Program through contribution and/or development of key operation readiness inputs such as resourcing and training plans, technical maintenance plans and procedures
  • Play a critical role in the development of resourcing people requirements and business cases as necessary
  • Engage with all stakeholders within the Package Contractors, RPV and MTM to ensure delivery to planned scope and active resolution or escalation of issues
  • Continue to drive a culture of outstanding performance by leading a diverse and collaborative team of passionate people who are dedicated to delivering projects that that improve the safety and reliability of Melbourne's rail network

ABOUT YOU

  • Tertiary qualification in Technology, Commerce or Systems related field (desirable)
  • Experience at a senior level, delivering technical projects to support and maintain Operational Control Systems and ICT Systems is essential.
  • Experience leading significant change projects within railway operations including the introduction of modern signalling systems and integration into existing systems architectureis desirable
  • Experience at a senior level within a major railway project, including design, construction, testing and commissioning and handover will be advantageous
