Several full-time, permanent positions in the South East of Melbourne have become available for Labourers within our small crews in the Power Industry.

Position Summary:

  • Pole to Pit Works on the United Energy/Zinfra Network
  • Installation of new Power Pits, Conduit and Cable
  • Spotting Excavator Operator
  • Hand Digging Around Assets
  • Utilising Grundomat to bore underneath Footpaths, Crossovers and Roads
  • Temporary Reinstatement of Footpaths, Crossovers and Roads


 Monday
  • Friday, with occasional overtime
  • Excellent working conditions with a family owned and run small business

About You:

  • Physically fit and willing to get your hands dirty in a range of outdoor weather conditions
  • Be able to work in a team environment
  • Be highly selfmotivated and have a great work ethic
  • Enjoy manual labour
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Be comfortable working with and around critical underground infrastructure
  • Have a high regard for safety
  • Have the ability to problemsolve and identify solutions
  • Willing to undergo preemployment and random drug and alcohol testing

Minimum Requirements:

  • Australian Driver's License and own/have regular access to a car
  • White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate)
The below certificates are preferable, but are not essential for employment consideration:

  • MR Truck License
  • Spotters Registration Certificate
  • Australian ESI Skills Passport (and all relevant certificates, both Mandatory and Conditional, for a "Civil Worker" as per the VESI Skills and Training Matrix)
  • United Energy & Zinfra Inductions
