Group Teacher
Fun, creative, and innovative personality who loves to work with young children. Our early childhood music classes start from 1.5 years up to 4 years. Our piano classes start from 4 years and up. AMEB Grade 7+ or equivalent and a current ACT WWVPcard is essential.

Knowledge of the Encore program is a plus and knowledge and/or experience of solfege singing will be useful but not essential, as training will be provided for the right person with a passion for quality music education.

The successful applicant will demonstrate confidence in relating to young children and their parents. The applicant will possess good piano skills and a natural singing voice. Excellent pay and working conditions. Morning or afternoon shifts during the ACT school term. University students are welcome to apply.

Individual Piano teacher/s


Our individeual teachers work in partnership with us at BMS Academy to teach individual piano lessons to students between the ages of - adult.

Lessons are generally 30 minutes long, and a teacher's schedule is approximately 6-10 lessons in a row.

We are currently looking for piano teachers to take one or more of the existing schedules on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons between approximately pm

Teachers must hold a valid ACT Working With Vulnerable Persons card.

  • Music Qualification preferred but not required
  • Primary or Early Childhood teacher qualifications are preferred but not required
  • University students are welcome to apply
We ask teachers to commit to at least 12 months with BMS Academy. Lessons occur during the ACT Public School Terms.
